About Victor Alonso...... Early in my life I started off on two career paths: Computers (IT) and Architecture. In early 1993 I was working in the Houston area as an Architectural Designer designing custom and production homes. Through my various contacts I eventually moved to run operations of a mid-sized building company while integrating my two passions together. In 1997, I was approached by 2 building companies to assist in alleviating operational communications between sales and upper management. I lead a consortium to identify and develop a state of the art Point of Sales System using Allaire’s ColdFusion. This application was aggressively marketed within Houston and Dallas and eventually grew into a complete Job Based Tracking System which included: Construction Draws, Job Cost Analysis, New Home Start Request / Tracking, Sales Contracts, and several additional functions. Today the application is still in use but is primarily used within the Houston Market. As time went on I continued to program additional applications with ColdFusion and eventually moved into networking and became certified as a MCP, MCSA, MCSE 2003: Security +.
